Wow hasn’t been able the leveling experience since Vanilla/BC, it’s all about the content you unlock at max level. I am a alt-o-holic, just retunring to retail. 1. Last time I leveled 1-60 I got to play 2 zones (neither to completion) and less than 10 dungeons. The best thing they offer is that they prevent a majority of your slots from running the risk of becoming "dead" as you level. Posted by u/[Deleted Account] - 1 vote and 6 comments Assuming you won't do any raids (as you stated in a comment down here) the time you will take to get enough Heroism to buy heirlooms will be about the same time you'll save by leveling your toon without heirlooms (it might even take more time to gather the heroisms since you don't seem to have much experience in heroism questing). Now that you get basic mount training at lvl 10 it's not that cool, but it's still faster than walking. Any epic 2h Axe, and especially blue ones, wasn't even close to the heirloom axe all from 1-69. Fiery is muuuuuuuuuch better than crusader until at least 20-30.
